One of my favorite things to do when I get into a rut planning my day/week/month for my daycare kids is check out fun holidays or wacky days. Sure, March features Dr. Seuss’ birthday, St. Patrick’s Day, and the first day of Spring which can fill up a month with activities, but what about some of the other things that can make our days a little goofy and add some fun for the littles we take care of. Hello Oreo Cookie Day!!!
How to use this list
March is packed with all kinds of fun and wacky holidays, but not all of them are the best fit for kids (we’ll skip things like The Day of Panic on March 9th or Everything You Think Is Wrong Day on March 15th!).
You can use this list however it works best for you! Feeling ambitious? Celebrate a new March holiday with your kids every day with a simple craft, activity, or themed snack.
